  The good was great but what really set this place above all others was the owners they are both super friendly with them speaking English/ German/ Spanish and probably more. They were first to greet us welcoming in finding a table as we hadn't booked. Then treated us like we were the honoured guests all the way through the meal. Our meal was made special by these individuals. And I honestly recommend to anyone visiting Majorca to come visit them and try the great food.

  VIsiting Majorca for the umpteenth time, but sadly, the first visit without my late wife. Claudia and Luis could not have been more sympathetic or helpful. They fitted me in although I was on my own, had time for me and made me most welcome. The food is out of this world and must be ranked amongst the best on the Island. If you are looking for a perfect dinner in a lovely square with a great variety of dishes then you must visit Bistro Mercat.

  What can I say. Tonight has been an amazing evening. We had a lovely tapas meal with nice wine and desserts. Every one has gone home feeling full as commenting how it's been an amazing evening. The bistro is located in the town square that was lively and very very Spanish. And not overly tourist based like palma.

  Great place for dinner. Variety of tapas and local cuisine. Store was full when we arrived(with out reservation), waiter informed us that they would have a table available in 30 minutes. We returned later and our table was ready.
